Kevin, a native of Harrogate, joined West Yorkshire Police at the age of nineteen. After thirty years’ service, finally heading the West Yorkshire Police VIP unit, he joined the West Yorkshire Lieutenancy.
One year later, he became Clerk to the Lieutenancy, just in time to co-ordinate the visit of Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh to West Yorkshire as part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations.
Kevin was appointed a Deputy Lieutenant in 2016 and was Invested as a Lieutenant of The Royal Victorian Order at a Ceremony at Buckingham Palace on the 9th June 2018
Kevin and his wife Sue have a son and a daughter, both flown the nest, and four grandchildren and one great granddaughter
