Hannah Cockcroft is the reigning World, European and Paralympics Champion, winning three gold medals in both the 100m and 200m in the 20011 and 2013 World Championships, two gold medals in the London 2012 Paralympics and in 2014 won two further golds in the IPC European Championships over 100m and 800m. Hannah also holds the T34 World Records for 100, 200, 400 and 800m.
Hannah is Patron of five charities within West Yorkshire, The Jane Tomlinson Appeal, Children’s Forget Me Not Hospice, Whizz Kidz, The 53 Foundation and Spider-y. She works very closely with various disability groups and actively works on many disability issues.
Hannah was awarded an MBE in 2013 for Services to Athletics.
