Born in Keighley on August 15th 1951 daughter of Barbara and John Taylor (later Lord Ingrow) and married Charles Dent in 1975. 2 children. Worked in London 1972-1980 when we returned to Yorkshire. I have spent 36 years overseeing the management and renovation of the estate.
I spent 6 years (1991 -1997) on the North Yorkshire Family Health Service Authority. I am a member of Hunsingore Parish Council. 1989 to date.
I have also been involved in charity fundraising for a number of different charities varying from York Minster to the Royal Institute for the Blind, and in particular for Macmillan Cancer Support over 30 years.
